Core Data Model Working Group

Overview

The primary goal of this working group is to define a common, unified, and extensible model for representing scientific observations and measurements. This model serves as one of the the primary components for enabling data interoperability across data repositories and systems via the SONet framework. 

Two of the tasks assigned to this subgroup are to

1. Compare and contrast the observation models used in current systems.
2. Collect requirements for a common observations data model.
